Technical Requirement for Titanium Alloy Forging: Prior to forging, titanium alloy components must be uniformly coated with a glass-based protective lubricant. This coating serves dual critical functions: (1) effectively preventing surface oxidation during both heating and forging operations, and (2) significantly reducing frictional resistance between the workpiece and forging dies, thereby providing essential lubrication throughout the deformation process.
